Page Set up in Word 2007.

How to Set up Page Orientation and Size.

After producing your document and you need to print it. Remember; every document needs a different page setup. There is a standard paper size, international standard and custom sizes. Each depends on your printer setting.

There are two type of page orientation:

i. Portrait: This orients the page vertically.

ii. Landscape: This orients the page or paper horizontally.

To choose you page orientation, use the following steps:

1.  Click the Page Layout on the ribbon

2. Click the Orientation button and choose from Portrait or Landscape

3. To change the size, click on the size button. And chose the size you want from the drop down menu.

How to Set customs page Size.

To Set Custom page size, follow the steps below:

1.            Click the Page Layout tab

2.            Click the Page Size list arrow, and click the More Paper sizes at the bottom of the drop down menu

3.            Click the Paper tab

4.            Click the Paper size list arrow and select the paper size you want from the drop down menu. You can as well change the width and height here.

5.            Select the Paper source, default is always highlighted

6.            Click the Apply To list arrow, and then click to choose which option you like. This point forward or whole document

7              Preview the document you are working on and the changed you are applying is in the Preview box.

8.            Click Ok to accept the changes.
